Meet Our Pastors

Pastors Sam & Denise Hinkle welcome you to River Church! We invite you to become a part of the church family and pray that God will help us work together as a team to lift up the name of Jesus Christ!

Both Pastors Sam & Denise grew up as “Preacher’s Kids.” They first met at a youth camp and then were re-united at a church convention several years later.

Each of their parents served as pastors and missionaries. Pastor Sam’s father served in the Phillipines, and Pastor Denise’s parents served in Guatemala and Central America. With this in mind, they also are very missions-minded and have strongly supported missions all their life.

Pastors Sam & Denise were married in 1976, and they have been blessed with three children: Joel (1980), Delaine (1984), & Merrilyn (1986).

Pastors Sam & Denise have worked together in the ministry for over 35 years, serving as Pastors in Warsaw since 1983. Pastor Sam attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, OK and Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK.

Pastor Sam’s style of preaching is power-packed, yet down-to-earth! He preaches the Word of God in its entirety and “breaks it down” so that any one can understand it. His vast knowledge and understanding of God’s Word from Genesis to Revelations will change your life!

With God’s help, we will accomplish the mission He has set out for each one of us!
